 The Crown, which has offered accommodation for over 350 years, closed in 1996 in much need of repair.  Unfortunately the property was bought but never worked on until it was sold again to a local property investor. He saw the potential and felt the need to keep such a wonderful old building in the heart of Frome’s town centre alive. And so, five and a half years of renovations later, it is finally back to its former glory thanks to a very time consuming but loving restoration.
